Custom Earth Day T-Shirts & Custom Organic T-shirts

The United Nations designated April 22 International Mother Earth Day in 2009. Why April 22nd though? Before the UN’s action Gaylord Nelson, a US Senator from Wisconsin, took initiative and called for an environmental “teach-in”, or Earth Day, to be held on April 22, 1970 (a day during the school week that didn’t compete with Easter). Over 15 million people participated that year and it is estimated that more than 500 million people and several national governments in 175 countries observe Earth Day. Many celebrate the entire week the 22nd falls in as Earth Week. If you are heading to an event make sure you have your customized Earth Day gear on! Customize a t-shirt for yourself or your entire cleanup crew. Get the little ones involved and plant the seed of change in the upcoming generations with customized youth t-shirts. Some cities actual host Earth Day races and walks. Customized Girl introduced customizable organic t-shirts to their Misses line and are planning on adding even more organics to their selection before April 22nd. So, get out there on Earth Day (falls on a Sunday this year–PERFECT!) and take initiative like Senator Nelson did! Every little bit counts!
