Here are 5 ways you can commemorate this important day in American history. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li><strong>Educate Yourself and Your Community.<\/strong> Before jumping <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">straight in<\/span> to the celebration, it is important to know what exactly you are celebrating and why. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">For starters, try<\/span><span class=\"has-inline-color has-light-green-cyan-color\"> <\/span>following organizations <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">and creators<\/span> in the Black community on social media who are advocates and devote their lives to fighting racial injustice. Here are a few <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">we recommend: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/austinchanning\/\">Austin Channing Brown<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/michellesaahene\/\">Michelle Saahene<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/emmanuelacho\/\">E<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/emmanuelacho\/https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/emmanuelacho\/\">mmanuel Acho<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mspackyetti\/\">Brittany Packnett Cunningham<\/a>. <\/li><li><strong>Support Black-Owned Businesses.<\/strong> Do some research in your area for Black-owned businesses. <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">It can be<\/span> as simple as dining at a <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">black-owned<\/span> restaurant, shopping at a local <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">black-owned <\/span>boutique, or subscribing to a blog <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">of your favorite black writer. <\/span>No matter the business, the smallest gesture can make the biggest impact. Show your support!<\/li><li><strong>Donate To Organizations.<\/strong> There are hundreds, if not thousands, of incredible organizations across the <span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">country <\/span>aimed to help raise awareness, educate, and make a difference for the Black community. Find one that means something to you and donate to help empower and fight for racial justice. No amount is too small. No idea where to start? It\u2019s a celebration of African-American music in the United States. Turn to your favorite streaming platform and jam out to Black artists during your Juneteenth celebration!
