Have you seen this amazing painting from Cornelis Ketel? It's called The Company of Captain Dirck Jacobsz Rosecrans and Lieutenant Pauw. It's from 1588 and it is incredible. Look at those dudes, standing around all baller like. Got weapons in their hands and puppies at their feet. These fellas have it all. Yeah, some of even turn their backs on the artist, but wait, nope! They are turning their heads around, throwing their hair back, and they are saying "Hee-eeey!" Squad goals, for sure. Gotta be like these guys.
