About the artist: Hello everyone! If you are new here, welcome! If you're returning, welcome back! My name is Carissa and while I enjoy various mediums, my favorite is markers. All of the designs you see in my store are hand drawn and designed my me. After each piece is completed, I have them scanned and put them on products for people to enjoy. There's no method to madness! I draw what inspires me. Journey: Back in September of 2022 I suffered a concussion. As a result, I suffered long lasting damage to my vision along with other cognitive limitations. I hit a plateau in the healing process near the end of 2023. My mental health declined and I needed an outlet within my limitations. I picked up a marker and haven't stopped since. It's extremely therapeutic and I find myself using less my eyes and more feeling and following each indentation from the previous marker stroke to create my art.
