We’re coming up on the end of the year, and unfortunately that means we need to address all the item colors that our vendors and manufacturers are no longer providing. Soon, we’ll be pausing the following item colors.
When this happens, we will choose the closest possible substitute color for your design. You shouldn’t have to do anything else, but if you are very particular about your item colors (for example: if you have a store for your youth football team) you might want to double check your design.
We won’t email you again about these changes because we don’t want to bother you.
If we had to remove an item completely, we’ve already done so. (Hopefully there aren’t any surprises from our vendors, but that can happen unfortunately.) If you were affected by the removal of an item, you should have received an email about it. Over the past two months, we’ve tried our hardest to find a suitable replacement item and swapped it out for you. Hopefully all those affected were satisfied with the results.
Soon we will be pausing the following colors:

A lot of factors go into being featured as Customized Girl’s storefront of the month. Creative designs, a great logo, and a brand with purpose are just a few attributing qualities we consider. FairFox Roller Derby is a storefront that exhibits all of these qualities making them Customized Girl’s storefront of the month!
“FairFox Roller Derby is a Rec League inclusive of any woman that wants to play the sport of roller derby. We play in a supportive and encouraging environment, while still pushing ourselves to become better players, as individuals and as a team.” FairFox has an open door policy giving all woman the chance to play roller derby regardless of experience. This is an amazing opportunity on FairFox’s behalf to give all women the chance to try and learn something new.
The best part of FairFox Roller Derby is now you can grab their amazing swag! Their storefront offers socks, pinnies, tees, and sweats – giving you endless options to choose from. Designs include team gear with their unique logo but they also incorporate simple roller derby love tees and tanks. FairFox has a fabulous logo and they have some of the best and catchiest roller derby sayings on the market. Mix the two and you have some of the best custom roller derby gear on the web. It’s that time of month again where Customized Girl highlights a storefront that exceeds our expectations. This month’s feature is to the highly motivated and passionate Health Nut in Training. Health Nut in Training is a website dedicated to finding hope and motivation through the journey of weight loss. She documents her highest accomplishments and her lowest of low points to inform other individuals know they are not alone. Health Nut decided to open a storefront with Customized Girl to give her readers additional motivation to feel good about themselves while working towards their weight loss goals.
Health Nut also does a great job of advertising products on their website. We get a lot of questions from storefront owners asking how they can feature their storefront on their website or blog. It’s always a great idea to add a “store” or “shop” link to the main navigation of your website but Health Nut in Training has a “get your gear” section on the right side of every post. It’s one of the many things we admire about her branding and advertising.
We love Health Nut for putting it all out there and inspiring others to be their best. Customized Girl strongly believes in representing statement makers who are making statements in small or large ways in their cities and communities. Health Nut is doing just that. “Not an expert yet, well who really is? You’re just trying to live your best life! We’re always in training.”

It a start of a new school year and for many individuals that means it is time to start fundraising. Fundraising can be a year long event from seasonal athletics, club teams, and any school functions. In most cases fundraising responsibility is left up to booster clubs. Booster clubs are organizations that are formed to support and raise money and are generally essential in supporting youth athletics. Instead of thinking of new fundraising ideas every year, Customized Girl has added storefronts to not only raise money but to also bring awareness and support for your team.
Customized Girl Storefronts are an extremely easy way to raise funds for any sports team. Our art gallery has an endless variety of sports themed art and our designers supply sporty designs to help give you ideas. If some reason we don’t have the art you are looking for let us know and we will add it for you! There are absolutely no start-up costs to open a storefront, nor will you ever pay a fee to maintain your storefront. Simply design the tees, tanks, sweatshirts, and accessories you’d like to sell for your organization, promote your storefront to volunteers and supporters, and collect the royalty earnings to use for upcoming events or general fundraising needs. All you have to do is design. Customized Girl processes orders, prints the designs onto apparel, and even ships the products from your storefront. It’s really that easy. Take a look at some youth boosters already established on Customized Girl:

Customized Girl loves statement makers and empowering individuals to be their best. That is why we are highlighting Be By Designs as our storefront of the month. Be By Designs is “designed to spread a message of meaning, purpose and light from the soul of the wearer to all they meet.” Not only does each design created by Be By Designs have meaning, purpose, and a lesson to share but intent to shift the way people think about themselves and about life.
It’s amazing the message Be By Designs is spreading and even more impressive how they are branding themselves. Be By Designs has an active twitter following and an amazing instagram account. Be By Designs is a great example of a storefront using social media to brand and spread awareness.

Baseball, custom apparel, and raising funds for charity? Sign me up!
Customized Girl has been working with the OCAO to launch a storefront to help raise funds for those who have been affected by ovarian cancer. What’s great about the OCAO is not only did they create a storefront to help raise funds for the cause but they customized special event shirts to help promote their event “Turn Huntington Park Teal.” It’s a great OCAO event they hold every year with the Columbus Clippers (AAA baseball team, affiliate of the Cleveland Indians) to help spread ovarian cancer awareness. They also made sure to sequence their “Turn Huntington Park Teal” designs to rank at the top of their page leading up to the event to make sure customers could easily find and purchase shirts for the event.
Here are some great pictures of their custom designs and participants from the event:
It’s amazing what storefronts can help achieve for those raising funds and awareness for great causes. The OCAO had a design concept, created an account, and brought it to life on custom apparel. It’s that easy! Check out our article The Future of Fundraising: How Smart Non-Profits Like CADCA are Raising Funds with Custom Apparel Storefronts to learn more about what a storefront with Customized Girl can do for your charity.
Make sure to stop by OCAO’s storefront and see what great things they are accomplishing by helping spread ovarian cancer awareness.
