But that also makes us the experts, right? Who better to offer advice?
Of course, most of this advice will involve “buy it from Customized Girl!” We just love being transparent.
TIP #1: Nfinity is the brand.
One brand seems to stand the tallest in the minds of cheerleaders today, and that is Nfinity. Yes, we sell custom nfinity bags.
Why is it so popular? Well, it’s a really nice backpack. It’s huge. It has tons of compartments. The front section is detachable (suddenly it’s a purse!).
It all started with cheerleaders, but this brand has spread to other groups too: dancers, gymnasts, and anyone else looking for a fine backpack.
There are two main types of Nfinity bags:
First is the classic Black backpack. It will cost around $100. It’s great.
Second is the Sparkle backpack. It costs significantly more, around $120.
But despite the higher price point, it’s actually more popular. There are several reasons for this. If you’re willing to drop $100+ on a sporty backpack, might as well push for something extra special, right? Another reason: it’s so sparkly. Extreme sparkles.
It’s also popular because it’s hard to get! Our supply of the main Black Backpack is somewhat consistent, but the Sparkle Bag sells out regularly.
To summarize the first tip: if you’re trying to make a custom Nfinity Backpack, and we have them in stock, then don’t wait! Especially if you want to get the sparkle bag. Jump on that as soon as you can.
TIP #2: Make it one-of-a-kind with customization.
You can get a duffel bag just about anywhere and call it a “dance bag”.
If you’re looking for something special, customize it with any text you want. Add your dancer’s name, initials, or even an inside joke. Do you have a special nickname that she loves? Want to her remind her of that one time you guys laughed and laughed?
At Customized Girl, you can make a custom dance bag, and it can say literally whatever you want.
Lot’s of places offer custom bags, right? Well, kind of. They offer a limited selection of personalization options, yes. But they can’t print ink on the vinyl-like material that makes up most duffel bags and backpacks.
They could screenprint, but then you have to buy like 36 of them.
They could embroider, but then you’d have a limited number of options and fonts. And embroidery gets expensive. There’s lots of set-up.
We do something different with our decoration. We use an ultra-thin, precision-cut film or foil material that is then heat pressed onto your bag. It’s great for custom bags that are meant to last forever, especially if you are buying just one. (We call this “no minimums” in the biz.)

TIP #3: Price can vary widely.
