We can officially put away the heavy sweaters and ditch the chunky layered look! Summer is right around the corner and with it come the music festivals. Along with the obvious good music, yummy food trucks, and fresh tan lines, music festivals bring us the chance to play with our style that the day-to-day grind doesn’t usually offer.
Neon is not a just a hue to some festivals, it’s an entire way of life. Electronic music festivals bleed neon. Glow sticks, glow paint, brightly colored hair, black lights, and neon tanks and tees make up the atmosphere at places like Electric Forest or Ultra. Customize our always popular neons with the name of your fest, bold music art from our design center and pair it with chunky combat boots, cut-off shorts, equally bright beaded bracelets, and something funky- like animal ears. Check out Label Rebel Natalie’s EDC look for inspiration. #smileforoscar
Famed at fests like Coachella, the Boho look is easily transferable from one festival to the next. Bohemian style totally encapsulates the point of a music festival- relax, enjoy the sun, and vibe in the good tunes. Our new floral ring designs are perfect for creating a bohemian, yet practical look at your music fest of choice. Add the Distressed feature to our Hamsa Hand, Dream Catcher, Sea Shell Bra and other trendy bohemian designs for a custom look. For total boho style pair it with a paisley maxi skirt, a light and lacy sweater, beaded sandals, and a flower crown. Don’t forget to throw the peace sign to all of your fellow festers.
Prints, Prints and More Prints
The office, the grocery store, the bank, and all of the other places that you spend most of your time are not always ideal for playing with a lot of fun and bold prints. Think of your new festival ticket as a chance to let your inner six year old pick the outfit. Equally as popular as the boho look, you’re sure to see funky print combos at fests like Bonnaroo and Firefly. Create a custom look with our new all over floral art or a visually intricate design like Fries Over Guys and get weird with it! Pick a patterned pant or skirt that shares a similar color or pattern and clash like your mother always said not to. Finish the look with a floppy hat, bold lips, and chunky sandals.

These days it seems everyone is running. Running 5k’s, half marathons, whole marathons, color runs, charity runs, and everything in between. Customized Girl is always receiving orders for these events and we’re happy to fill them! We even featured a customer who created custom running shirts for her marathon team as March’s Label Rebel last week!
But what else does a runner need besides a custom running shirt?
Custom Shorts. Pair your new shirt with customized running shorts. Custom shorts are a fun way to bring color to your gear and attention to the cause you’re running for. They make for a great momento of the day and all the hard work you put in training for it.
How about some socks? It’s an obvious no-no to run in your sneaks without socks for health and hygiene reasons. Customize our popular American Apparel Striped Knee-High Socks to add some more flare and personalization to your race day gear.
Block the inevitable sweat and sun from your eyes with customized running hats. It’s difficult to run with sunglasses and your sunblock will probably sweat off. Solve the problem with a customized hat for the day.
What about my water bottle, car keys, wallet, and snacks?! Fear not. We also offer customized sport bags so you can easily tote all of your gear.
Whatever race you’re running, whether it be your fifth marathon or your first 5k, Customized Girl has all of the gear you need. We offer you the chance to customize your fitness apparel to keep you inspired and moving at your own customized pace.

Sure we love our lacy skirts and colored denim 5 days a week, but what about the weekends? What about lazy Friday nights when we binge watch Netflix? What about the Sundays we barely leave our beds?
Those are the days we love our sweatpants.
Hair tied, chillin’ with no make-up on is necessary downtime for every girl. We like to get comfy and let the stress of school or work melt away unlike the pint of Ben & Jerry’s we’re devouring so fast it doesn’t even have the chance to.
For these days, we have custom sweatpants. All of our sweatpants, even Pajama Pants, are completely customizable! Create a pair of sweats for your lazy Fridays with your favorite art, funny saying, or your name! Design a pair of the Jersey Lounge Pants to wear while you watch your basketball team win your bracket. Add your team’s name and favorite player’s number in the design center. The options are limitless!
Oh, you tend to be active when you’re in sweatpants? Design custom sweats for your team’s new warm-ups or create something personalized to wear when you’re hitting the gym (you go, girl). Customize trendy Yoga Pants or the Jersey Crop Pants. We have a huge selection of cheerleading, dance, and other fitness art to choose from! A group discount is given on orders of 6 items or more so outfitting your whole cheer squad is easy!
Don’t forget to design custom sweatshirts to really pull the whole “can’t get out of bed” look together. Or design them for your cheerleading warm-ups, whichever is more your style.

Our Label Rebels are always on the go with their custom designs. We’ve featured Label Rebels designing their own shirts for bachelorette parties, raves, an up-and-coming fashion label, mud runners, bowling parties and more. It only makes sense to feature marathon runners! Lately it seems marathon running is happening everywhere you turn. Color runs, zombie runs, holiday runs, runs that reward you with beer. The more and more these fun fitness challenges pop up, so do custom running shirts!
This month’s Label Rebel, Crystal Pack, her husband, and her friends ran San Antonio’s Rock N Roll Marathon last year in tanks and tees they designed with Customized Girl!
“My husband and I ran the 2013 San Antonio Rock N’ Roll Marathon and a Half together this year. The guys ran the full marathon and the girls ran the half. We wanted to do themed running shirts that related to rock n’ roll so we came up with “Sole Sisters” for the girls who were doing the half. The numbers on the back are the number of half marathons we had done including the one we were running that day… The run was very hot, but the bamboo fabric of the shirts worked great. We were very pleased with the order!”
“The three guys in the photo below ran the 2013 San Antonio Rock N’ Roll marathon together. Two of the guys brew their own beer and wanted to be called the brews brothers. The third guy who is named “Guy” does not brew beer, so we decided to do” The Brews Brothers” (in the spirit of rock n’ roll and brewing beer) and put “And Guy” on the back. We of course reversed it for Guy’s shirt. Here is a photo of the guys! All three loved the shirt and had no problems running 26.2 miles in it on a very hot Texas day.”

Some girls think of flowers, dresses, and breaking out their sandals as the snow melts and the sun starts shining. Others think of cheap beers, cheaper hot dogs, and good ol’ American baseball.
We’re talking about the girls who call off sick to catch the big games. We’re talking about the girls who know their team’s stats better than their friends’ birthdays. We’re talking about the girls who think of the field when they hear “diamond.” We’re talking about the girls who won’t even consider a guy unless he plays the game.
For these one-of-a-kind girls, we’ve got something special. Whether you’re head over heels for the pitcher, the home run hitter, the team you dream about, or just the game itself, we’ve got our line of Baseball Girlfriend shirts.
Choose the style that fits you best, select your team’s colors, pick your favorite baseball art in our design center, and create a baseball shirt that is totally unique. We know your love for baseball sets you apart from most girls and you should have a style that reflects just that. After all, you’re in a league of your own.

Customized shirts are a great way to promote your project or brand! Just ask Steve Wolsh who is the creator of the independent horror film, Muck. Steve put together a star-studded cast that includes the 2012 Playboy Playmate of the year, Jaclyn Swedberg, and horror legend Kane Hodder.
To spread the word about Muck, the cast made an appearance at Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo in Los Angeles. As you can tell from the photos, they were very successful in creating more buzz about the film, but you’ll also notice the custom shirts they created for the event by using our Customized Girl design center! The shirts were designed to bring potential fans over to the Muck booth and generate more anticipation for the movie’s release later this year. Jaclyn Swedberg even chose to sport our famous football burnout tee!
Below is the message we received from Steve; he shares more details about himself, the film and his customized lifestyle!
Steve Wolsh’s independent horror film, Muck, will become one of the first titles anywhere to offer consumers the premium 4K / Ultra HD experience. As Hollywood’s biggest studios and TV programmers, Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, Amazon, Netflix, and others, rush to create content in 2014 for the breathtaking picture of new 4K / Ultra HD TVs, it’s Wolsh’s independent film, Muck, that will be ahead of the 4K / Ultra HD curve when it gets released this later year.
The creative and resourceful production team behind Muck managed to travel a mostly Los Angeles based cast and crew to in New England’s protected wetlands and survive 19 grueling all-night shoots. Without any CGI, Muck boasts dangerous stunts: in-water fighting, full-body fire burns, and high-impact falls. Muck simultaneously pushes the limits of what can be done both within the horror genre and with independent filmmaking. The cast includes Horror Legend Kane Hodder and 2012 Playboy Playmate of the Year Jaclyn Swedberg, as well as Australian hunk Lachlan Buchanan (Newcastle, Pretty Little Liars, and NCIS: Red), YouTube sensation Lauren Francesca, Indian beauty Puja Mohindra, Bryce Draper, Grant Alan Ouzts, Stephanie Danielson, and Laura Jacobs (Almost Human).
Pictures are from Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo 2013 in downtown Los Angeles, an event with over 50,000 people. Muck was a featured part of Comikaze, holding a Q&A panel for fans where Wolsh surprised fans by bringing an exclusive 12-minute preview of the film. Customized Girl made the T-shirts that the director, cast, and “Muck” girls wore.
If you’re looking for a good scare, make sure to check out the trailer for Muck. You can also view their Facebook page for updates on the film!
